Torrential rain has been scourging every corner of the planet for a month. The globe is shrouded in a compact curtain of clouds, at the mercy of extreme and devastating climatic events decimating the earth’s population.

On the 31st day, the sky opens up and flocks of floating silhouettes emerge from the last clouds. They are corpses. Thousands, millions of lifeless bodies floating at the mercy of the wind and high altitude currents. Where do they come from, how did they end up there? Why don’t they fall (and some of them explode)?

In a world on the brink of collapse, survival is a fine balance of petty everyday expedients, while terror and superstition run rampant and official science fails to give a reason for an inexplicable phenomenon.
